Since the early years Syed Wilayat Ali Shah was into spirituality and had a religious inclination. He was a Hafiz-e-Quran and was skilled and knowledgeable on several fronts. He was mostly found lost in the brown study and loved being by himself. Later in 1839 Syed Wilayat Ali Shah received an annunciation to travel west of Dera Ismail Khan to spread the word of Allah and Prophet Muhammad (SAW). This annunciation was the primary reason for Syed Wilayat Ali Shah to turn down the marriage proposal of the niece of Sardar Abdullah Khan Sadozai. Soon after Syed Wilayat Ali Shah received the annunciation, he told his father seeking permission to leave Dera Ismail Khan and travel westwards to serve Islam. Syed Ameer Shah swiftly gave permission to Syed Wilayat Ali Shah. Sardar Abdullah Khan Sadozai gifted his personal horse to Syed Wilayat Ali Shah for his travels ahead.
Syed Ameer Shah S/O (Son of) Hazrat Syed Fazil Shah—a monkish and dervish natured person—was at the pinnacle of knowledge and blessings. Syed Ameer shah had immense comprehension of the religious matters and was a Hafiz-e-Quran (a person who has memorized the Holy Quran). He spent most of his time worshiping Allah. He was blessed with five sons.
- Syed Wilayat Ali Shah was the eldest
- Syed Fateh Darya Shah was the second eldest
- Syed Qutab Ali Shah was the third eldest
- Syed Abbas Shah was the fourth eldest
- Syed Inayat Ali Shah was the youngest
Unfortunately, Syed Inayat Ali Shah did not live long and died at an early age.
It was revealed unto Syed Ameer Shah (Rematullah Aliha) to migrate to the city of Dera Ismail Khan in the Service of the Allah and serve Allah’s purpose though the preaching of Islam. Upon receiving the imperative Syed Ameer Shah sent his eldest son Syed Wilayat Ali Shah—an erudite scholar of the religion and a stable personality—along with his youngest son Syed Inayat Ali Shah to embark on a journey towards Dera Ismail Khan. Whereas, Syed Fateh Darya Shah—a scholar, a hafiz-e-Quran, and an expert in the life history of the prophet Muhammad (SAW), and a pious man—was told to serve the community by spreading the word of Allah and helping the people have a better understanding of Islam while staying put at Tibba Fazil Shah. All of the descendents of Syed Fateh Darya Shah live within the vicinity of Tibba Fazil Shah to date. However, Syed Ameer Shah along with his two sons- Syed Wilayat Ali Shah and Syed Inayat Ali Shah- migrated to Dera Ismail Khan in 1838 AD ~ 1255 Hijri.
